17/00708/AS – Erection of a 56-bed care home and 23 units for assisted living (Use class C2) comprising 16 cottages and seven flats (including Manager’s accommodation) with associated landscaping, parking, stores and service areas, estate roads, access and landscaping buffers on land north of 14 Westwell Court, Tenterden, Kent
Further to the recently submitted updated documents (11 March 2020) for this application, we wish to confirm that our previous objections remain valid, particularly in reference to the impacts on the existing public right of way; highway safety and detrimental impact on wildlife and biodiversity.
We wish to add to our previous objections as follows:
- We question the accuracy of the updated Arboricultural Report, particularly, inaccurate measurements of existing veteran trees and errors in the classification of T23 and the line of G7 maples. There appear to be omissions in veteran tree recording, including the line of G7 Maples. We are concerned that the proposed building encroaches well within root protection zones of some veteran trees.
