On Sunday 13th February 2022 at midday, residents will be joining forces across Kent to walk across our green spaces and green fields, highlighting how precious they are to local communities, as so many are now at risk from development.
“We all accept that development needs to take place, but it should be at a level sustainable to the local area, and until the Tenterden Neighbourhood Plan is formally agreed and adopted, all of our green spaces and greenfield sites are at risk.
In Tenterden, we are proposing to meet on the Appledore Road football pitches and walk across Limes Land, a site that is currently under threat from development. The walk will take place part way through the Wates planning inquiry, so it will provide us with the opportunity to express our objection to over development of the town.
I sincerely hope you are able to join us to show a united front. Further details can be found on the below flyer which you can share with friends and family.”
